Swimming isn’t just a skill — it’s a feeling. The feeling of being supported by water. Of breathing calmly, moving freely, and feeling safe.

This online course is designed for adults who want to learn to swim at their own pace — but not alone. Each week, we explore a new theme through a live webinar or recording, and reflect on feedback from the previous week. You can follow the course independently, but we warmly recommend joining the group rhythm for the best experience. Safest place to begin is swimming hall. We start from a shallow pool first, and then you can go deeper depending on your level.

The course remains open for 3 months, so you can revisit materials anytime.

Requirement:

To support your learning, we ask that you commit to visiting a swimming pool at least 2 times a weekduring the course. This helps you to transfer the learned skills to action

Course Structure

Each round is unique, but this weekly structure helps guide your progress step by step:

  • Week 1: Getting Comfortable in Water & Relaxation
    • This week is all about taking your first steps in water! We’ll practice floating, gentle movement, and getting your ears wet — calmly and playfully.
  • Week 2: Face in the Water & Breathing Basics
    • Time to be brave! You’ll learn how to put your face in the water and explore different breathing techniques
  • Week 3: Kicking & Gliding
    • Discover how your legs can move you efficiently through water. We’ll practice kicking technique and gliding — and start combining it with breathing.
  • Week 4: First Swimming Strokes
    • Now it’s time for action! You’ll learn your first swimming strokes — basic backstroke and front float swimming.
  • Week 5: Full Sequence & Extra Practice
    • Bring it all together. We’ll review everything you’ve learned and share tips for continuing your progress independently.
